Pirates of Penzance and other odds and ends

Yesterday aunt and I took M. to see the local production of Pirates of Penzance. It was at The Center For the Arts in town. An all kid production done by the local performing arts guild. M. absolutely loved it and talked about it for hours after it was over. It was a mom moment when I realized she could follow the story, sit through the whole thing and sense the magic of theater. Slightly bittersweet that she is growing up though.
I also looked for office space for my practice. Reality sunk in a bit more realizing that things are just more expensive than I would like. I keep seeing in my mind, a sweet little cottage downtown that has a kitchen so I can do private cooking classes. That is still unfolding, and I am excited to see how it all turns out.
The third thing is my husband never reads my blog. He is a very busy guy, but still annoying. Anyway, he lost his very stylish glasses in SF on friday night when they somehow fell out of his pocket, and went to LensCrafters on his way home to replace them. I was not there and he came home with a pair he picked out himself. I will say that one more time; he came home with a pair he picked out himself. He has 30 days to return them and pick out another pair. We are going sometime very soon to do that.
