Packing

I am totally procrastinating. I should be packing for Paris. Instead I am changing my blog header photo. Those berries came from our CSA farm this morning. Loganberries and Boysenberries. Somehow the berries reminded me of France.
I will be blogging from Paris. Our apartment has wireless internet, and this very happy news for me.
Now, I am going to tackle my closet. We have reservations for 6 of the 7 nights we are there. My sister and I have spent months choosing the "best" restaurants, and this means we need outfits to match the hype. Now, this is easy for my sister. Very easy. Living in SF, she is constantly shopping and hobnobbing with other fashionistas. For me, this is shall we say, more stressful. I am planning on bringing for example, an orange jacket from Anthropologie that is 12 years old. I have been banned (by my sister) from bringing my Dansko clogs too. I am going to try to keep up. The one saving grace is that I will be translating the wine list for us. My important job! Yes, I know Chateauneuf du pap, and will guiding our way through Alsatian and Burgundy wines. My throwback to all the wine courses I took working in restaurants in my 20's are fianlly paying off.
